I did a thing... !!!Milkshake have a great range of coloured Whipped creams! A conditioning foam, with a hint of colour, that washes out after a couple of washes, not affecting your normal colour. Today I sent off the collection for @greensaloncollective . An amazing organisation. They manage to recycle and compost hair, used foils, empty colour tubes, chemicals, PPE, plastic, paper and even salon towels. Also, 100% of any money raised from recycling your raw materials or new products made from your waste goes to charity. How amazing is that! It was nearly 20years ago when I started my hairdressing journey with Chrissie, and am now very honoured to have the opportunity to take over her business. 🐝Important News! 🐝 From July 18th 2022 Beau Hairdressing will become B Hair studio and at the helm will be Kendal! Lockdown and the affects of covid have made me want to take a different route in life now. I really enjoyed being at home with my family more, but I also realised I didn’t have anything else to do. Nothing! I had no hobbies or other interests outside of work, I was all consumed by work and the salon. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy my job, but I want the chance to enjoy other things too. As some of you may of noticed I’ve already made some changes, working less hours, taking on a massive renovation project, I’ve taken up horse riding again, I’ve signed up to my first (of many, hopefully) charity expedition the Philippines plus the addition of my 6 chickens and of course, everyone’s favourite salon dog, Wilson my lovely Labrador, but now its time for the real change. This is something that has been in the pipeline for a good 6 months or so, it's not a decision that has been taken lightly, but the time is right for both of us. If you have an appointment with me beyond the 18th don’t panic, I’ll be in touch. If you’d like anymore info please DM us. I will be moving on to pastures new, Hair by David in Bridport, with my friend Sharon, to give Kendal the space in her new salon to grow and nurture it into her own. Thank you! 🙏🏻 Shaping Futures, Schwarzkopf Professional’s unique training program, is a worldwide social initiative dedicated to teaching disadvantaged youngsters the craft of hairdressing so they can forge a brighter future for themselves. Since the beginning of Shaping Futures in 2008, when a small group of Japanese Schwarzkopf Professional employees travelled to Cambodia to teach basic hairdressing skills to street kids, this project has embodied the belief in the power of education to transform lives. Two years later in 2010, Shaping Futures was launched worldwide with training courses in SOS Children’s Villages in Peru and India, with expansion to Morocco, Latvia, Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam and Russia during the following two years. In 2013, youngsters from Slovenia, Tunisia and South Africa as well as orphans and refugees in Spain and Germany participated in this flourishing program. Then, in 2014 five additional countries, the Philippines, Jordan, Ukraine, Poland and Croatia, joined the worldwide network of change.
